Pathfinder Avenger Xlite: How I rollerboard…

Pathfinder Avenger

Recently, a friend asked me for advice on luggage. I travel. It has slowed lately, but I was “up in the air” for about a 10 year stretch. 2 million AAdvantage miles later, I tend for be a know-it-all when it comes to navigating airports, hotels, rental cars and all the accessories of business travel. My wife, who does not read my blog and hates to travel with me, brought the absolute best rollerboard into my life. I told my friend to look no further than the Pathfinder Avenger Xlite 22″. It is a great bag.

The Pathfinder Avenger Xlite 22″ advantages:

  1. Small enough to fit in the overhead and clear the most strict baggage checker.
  2. Expands if you need more than 3-4 days of clothing.
  3. Rumored to be the standard issue bag of Alaska Airlines.
  4. Suiter!

Size of carry-ons is becoming more important. Airlines seem to actually be following the FAA guidelines on full flights. The expansion is great to stuff it full when you need to check it. Being based in Seattle, I have taken a few Alaska Airlines flights. I always get a knowing nod from the crew on the plane or in the terminal. Suiter is key. Appearance takes on more importance in face-to-face meetings. This suiter keeps clothes ready to wear. Great bag. When you are in the market, check out the Pathfinder Avenger Xlite.
